Hi Jerry,
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me with my break though at
the retreat this last weekend. Yes, it was more than the “I am not enough” I had written on the
board. I don’t know if you had some kind of intuition or what, but you hit the nail on the head
when you wrote “small” on the board and said I had had people make me feel small in the
past. I had visited with your wife before we left and told her how I was having problems with our
daughter-in-law. Earlier this year she had given me such a berating that I could only compare
to one other time in my life when I was also made to feel small. And that was 28 years ago
when I was the victim of wife abuse by my first husband. I suffered both physical and mental
abuse by him. My daughter-in-law brought that mental abuse back to light this spring. I was a
total wreck for about 2 weeks till we got things worked out. Unfortunately, she is at it again.
Hopefully she will become a Christian some day and will have a change in heart. But this time
around I stood up for myself and did not let her drag me down!!!!!!!! I kept envisioning myself
breaking that board with “small” on it and knew it wasn’t true!!! I can only keep praying for her
to change and pray for myself to stay strong in my new belief that “I AM ENOUGH!”

Jerry, I need to share with you. You gave me a GIFT. You knew the value of that gift, yet it’s

What you teach is accurate. Without taking the steps, there can be no path. Without blazing
